Nintendo fansite Nintendo Life has revealed that Sonic Lost World has a day one update available on the European Wii U version of the game. It’s currently unknown what the update is for, but it weighs in at 46MB and took about five minutes to download and install for Nintendo Life’s staff. Hopefully SEGA will give details about the update closer to launch.

Sonic Lost World will be available in Europe October 18th.

  1. Any Aussies hoping to get Lost World on release day better know this: The release date is the 17TH, not the 19th.

I hope we find out what the update is before then…

  2. That’s weird how come Sega didn’t post a update for Sonic Lost World on Wii U, and 3DS?

    1. Oh and on a side note, Sonic Lost World topped the “Top Sellers” #1 chart of Shopto (as of the date of the posting of this comment) beating both Pokemon X and Y in the process. With the 3Ds version ranking #4.
I doubt that the selling streak will continue to be as strong as Pokemon X/Y, but hey, it’s the Blue Blur shinning time :p

      1. Wow! That’s incredible! 😀 Looks like the deadly six showed what real pokemon were! 😉
