Sonic Lost World Wii U, 3DS Prices Set on Amazon

SLWU_Amazon

No sign of a release date just yet, though it appears that we already have a price point on both versions of Sonic Lost World! Hey, at least you’ll know what the damage to your wallet will be in advance, right?

Via Amazon, it appears that the Wii U version of Lost World is priced at $49,95USD, while the 3DS version of the parkour-centric title is to be sold for $39,95USD. Pretty fair prices, mind!

  1. The product details give some little tidbits of information that we weren’t completely aware of, but I am sure that it is nothing we couldn’t have guessed ourselves. Pretty fair prices indeed… I think… 🙂 I can’t wait to see more about the game though!

  2. Those are very fair prices; the same price that Generations was on PS3/360 & 3DS.

    Man, between now and the end of the year, Wii U and 3DS owners have a ton of exclusive games to look forward to;
    -Game & Wario (WiiU)
-New Super Luigi U DLC (WiiU)
    -Animal Crossing New Leaf (3DS)
-Earthbound on Virtual Console (Wii U)
-Possibly 3D Classics: Sonic the Hedgehog (3DS)
-All of the Sonic GameGear games on Virtual Console (3DS)
    -Pikmin 3 (Wii U)
-Mario & Luigi: Dream Team (3DS)
    -Mario Gold World Tour (3DS)
    -Pokemon X and Pokemon Y (3DS)
-New 3-D Platforming, HD Mario Title (WiiU)
    -Mario Kart Wii U (WiiU)
-Zelda Link to the Past 2 (3DS)
-Possibly Yoshi’s Island 3D before end of year (3DS)
-Possibly Yarn Yoshi before end of year (WiiU)
-Retro Studio’s Project, more than likely an F-Zero, Star Fox or Metroid game (WiiU)
-Sonic Lost World (WiiU & 3DS)
-Mario & Sonic at the 2014 Soshi Winter Olympics (WiiU & 3DS)

And on top of that, after the end of 2013, there’s:
    -Mario Party 3D (3DS, winter of 2014)
-HD Zelda (WiiU, no release date)
-Super Smash Bros. (WiiU & 3DS, no release date)
-An unannounced Sonic game either for WiiU, 3DS, or both

And then there’s any surprises Nintendo has at e3 on top of all of that! Wii U is a great console, well worth the money and will be selling as much as the PS4 and XBox One, you watch. Mark my words, Nintendo’s been in the industry for a loooong time; they know what they’re doing, they just worry about making great games, not having the most high-tech console or the most realistic graphics. Having fun playing a video game is much more important to me than how it looks; I have a feeling that (regardless of how I feel about the Dangerous Six) Lost World will be the Sonic game that brings him back to his former glory and will be the best-selling Sonic game of all-time. Very excited!!!

      1. Oops, my bad looked it up and Mario Party comes out before the end of the year and Yoshi’s Island is the one that doesn’t release until Winter 2014. The site I originally saw those 2 games announced on must’ve been incorrect. Figued they were right, given they’re a site mainly about the Mario Party series, but regardless sorry for the mistake ^^

    1. “-Zelda: Link to the Past 2 (3DS)”

      *has a heartattack and stroke*

NO EFFIN WAY! A sequeal to Link to the Past after what about 20-25 years ago! Holy crap I think hell just froze over again.

  3. I’m so glad that Lost World isn’t priced at $60.00! 🙂 $60 is just TOO expensive IMO for a video game. :/ Hopefully at that price, Sonic will be able to compete with other Holiday titles!

  4. There no release date for Sonic lost world on Wii u and Nintendo 3DS. Also Sonic lost world is on Amazon for Wiiu for $49.95 and Nintendo 3DS for $39.95.

  5. I suppose the Wii U version will do better at a lower-than-full price (full price is $60), but the 3DS version being at full price is really good news. That means that Sega and Nintendo are expecting the 3DS version to be a good-quality game, and not just a handheld port of a console game.

  6. I’d say for UK prices, The Wii U version will be £39.99 and the 3DS version will be either the same price of £10 cheaper (£29.99). It’s a suggestion

  7. Knowing me I’m probably going to end up getting both like I did with Sonic Generations.

  8. Well, not bad prices, but I’ll still wait for them to drop. College is evil in that way.

…I also don’t have a WiiU so… XD That’s the console I want it for XD

    1. Cool!

I can’t wait for this game it looks really good.
I just hope that the boss fights aren’t lame like some other sonic games.
Anyway I’m getting both versions, can’t wait for Friday.

  9. That’s fair pricing.

The word “supersonic” in the 4th point makes me think that all multiplayer will be alternate versions of Sonic or something similar, like in Colours.
