Epic Scents Announces Sega Fragrances

My fellow Blue Believers… today marks a historic day, a historic day not just for Sonic fans, but for Sega fans as a whole. For years we have wondered, asked the question… ‘can I smell like Sonic?’ Today, we can finally give you the answer!

The dreams of thousands of Sega fans have been answered, you can soon smell like Sonic! In fact, you can soon smell like a whole range of Sega characters! Thats right my friends. Epic Scents, makers of such fragrances as MegaMan… yes that is a real product, have announced today their partnership with Sega to produce a range of products based off a range of Sega characters.

Details as to the exact nature of the products of characters in question were not disclosed, however, a release date of June 2013 was mentioned. If Sonic isn’t in the line, something has gone very wrong, however, that doesn’t stop me from offering a number of suggestions.

The Sonic, For those who want that fresh full of energy boost in the morning. Or how about the Ax Battler, nothing says “I AM A MANLY MAN DOING MANLY THINGS!” than smelling like a barbarian as you chop up wood for your dad. Or maybe ‘The Uncle Kaz’ for those who want to wow the ladies with their kareoke skills and at the same name put the young Yakuza’s in their place? And as for the ladies, how about ‘The Ulala’ For the pop tastic diva in us all? Or the Blaze Fielding, Strong, Independant, Powerful, and can summon a bazzoka strike with one click of a button?

Joking aside, I for one am genually looking forward to seeing and smelling these in the future, though I do worry the reaction I might get if I send someone a bottle of ‘Chao in Paris.’

No details on the exact release date or price were given. But we’ll keep you upto date with news as it comes to light.

Full press release is at follows.

  1. Who wants to smell like the Eggman, you’ll smell like you have the maste plan. And really bad eggs.

  2. No doubt there’ll be an Amy one. How can they not resist a title like “A Scent of Rose”? XD

  3. I don’t know why, but from the title I thought that Sega was adding “Smell-O-Vision” to Sonic games for a second. This should be so cool! Although I doubt they’ll release anything for us girls. X’D

  4. I wonder if there’s a Knuckles scent…. It could be stinky like the Master Emerald shards. Something I should try out!

    1. I LOVE THIS VIDEO. That is seriously the best Shadow impersonation I’ve ever heard. XD

  5. Sega just announces the sega charachers will play the Theather is about Epic Scents of power house on June 2013. Also I hope Sonic The Hedgehog will here in the line to read the lines.

  6. School girls: Oh my! Why do you smell so good? What’s your secret?
Me: (Doesn’t say anything like Sonic does in Sonic generations) 😀
That’ll be the day! Seriously though… What the heck? Fragrances for SEGA characters? Fragrances for Sonic characters? Is that even possible? This should be VERY interesting, but in the meantime, here is to making an Amy fragrance so girls don’t feel left out. Other than that, I am hoping for an eventful future with this stuff.
    P.S. Danbury, Connecticut? That’s a first.

  7. Hmm… Seems pretty cool. I’d like to get of them. Though I do wonder, what would the smell of Jet Set Radio be like?

  8. I kinda think a Ulala Fragrance would be a guarantee for the girls. If they made a Sonic one I, the only smell I can think of is what his sneakers might smell like, also NiGHTS perfume would be interesting.

  9. Who would want to smell like RoBUTTnik? Haha.
Blaze would smell of something burning, that would be… Cool.

    1. Me: Hey guys, I smell something burning, we better pull the fire alarm.
Friend: *sniffs* Oh no no no, you got it all wrong. That’s just him with that new burning blaze fragrance.
      Me: Oh… okay then… 🙂

  10. So Sonic will smell like chilli dogs, Eggman will smell like eggs, Tails will smell like exhaust fumes, Amy will smell like roses and Cheese will smell like cheese.

  11. I hope they’d do something cool with the bottle and give it a unique shape like the ones at macy’s. Maybe a chaos emerald bottle.
