Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing for Mac Hits the Road on April 4th!

Feral Interactive today announced that Sonic & SEGA® All-Stars Racing™ for the Mac will be released on Thursday, April 4th, exclusively on the Mac App Store. Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing brings SEGA mascot Sonic the Hedgehog and 21 other favourite SEGA characters to the Mac platform for the very first time.

Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing sees Sonic the Hedgehog, Dr. Eggman, Tails, AiAi the monkey and the rest of the cast race to the checkered flag in cars, motorbikes, planes, hover cars and even a “banana mobile”! Tracks inspired by SEGA’s celebrated game worlds, including Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Monkey Ball, range from medieval castle ramparts and lush rainforests to downtown Tokyo and even a gravity-defying casino!

To stay ahead of the competition, players can use secret shortcuts, devious weapons and devastating power-ups liberally sprinkled along each track. Each character comes equipped with their own game-changing “All-Star Move” such as Sonic’s “Super Sonic” and Dr. Eggman’s “Missile Madness”.

Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing will support online multiplayer for up to four players using Apple’s Game Center technology, as well as player achievements and iCloud syncing.
Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing is the first Sonic game to to be published on the Mac, with the second, SEGA Superstars Tennis, to follow this year.
