Seeing release in Europe today on the Xbox 360 and PS3, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is now officially becoming available to the public! Eager racers whose mouths have been watering in anticipation of this title for months may finally race up and down and all around SEGA memory lane on land, sea, and sky!

Sumo Digital’s latest piece of work will be available to all in North America on the 18th, which includes the Xbox 360 and PS3 iterations, along with the Wii U version for the launch of Nintendo’s newest console. The Wii U version of S&ASRT (as well as the console) will release in Europe on the 30th!

Now, there is one more thing about this game that we would like to share with you – a screenshot of the “Special Thanks” section from the credits of Transformed. However, there is a few spoilers included, so do look at your own discretion.

We would like to thank to Steve “S0L” Lycett for including the Sonic Stadium community in the credits!

The TSS crew will be providing reviews of Transformed over the coming weeks as each version will be split among us, so stay tuned!

  1. I still can’t believe the Team Fortress 2 Characters are exclusive to PC. NERDBOY RAAAAAAAGE

    1. Congrats, you lucky duck! >:( xD

I will patiently wait for someone to review the Wii U version of this game. 🙂

  2. got a copy picked up for me today for christmas. also does anybody know if the limited edition copy comes with metal sonic and the outrun track already on the disc or do you have to download them? cheers.

    1. It’s just like the casino night DLC with generations, you have to put the code in on PSN (not quite sure with XBLA) I haven’t been able to download it since I need to do an update on PSN first..

      1. I think you had to have it pre-ordered to have the metal sonic and outrun bay I thought I wasn’t going to get it but I did because I pre-ordered it on my birtday

      2. Yep, you do the same with the 360. Input the code, it’ll show it to you, and download it.

‘Tis how I got Casino Night, the Generations theme, and avatar costume. If I didn’t remember that would be sad! (But frankly, not beyond me)

  3. in regards to the DLC – downloaded it from PS store all ok, but no outrun bay or metal sonic as an option yet. Do I need to unlock them?!

  4. I put the bonus code in and metal sonic was selectable instantly, of it doesn’t work try exiting the game and restarting. You have to wait for the download to finish.

  5. kinda annoyed that some characters are clones of other racers.
    – gum is a beat clone.
    – reala is a nights clone.
    – meemee is an aiai clone.

and nights/reala is disapointing ): reused artwork, reused human animations from all-stars tennis and no seperate win/lose animations ):
i still enjoy playing as them though.

    metal sonic is amazing!
