So the achievements (and we assume the trophies) for Sonic & All Star Racing Transformed have been posted by xbox360achievements.org. A quick look at them suggests that this is going to be a VERY hard game to get 100% on. Whilst the challenges themselves don’t sound too bad. Many players might be limited by technical aspects.
For instance. Two of the achievements require a single console to have 4 controllers hooked up. One of those demands that 4 local players come 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the same race against 6 other Ai racers.

“Team Sonic” is total bull. What do they expect us to do if we have no nearby friends that like racing games? Am I supposed to force my non-racer friends to get decent at the game and all join in for one race for this one dumb Achievement?
I won’t even be able to get half of these achievements, lol. Stressing over 100% just isn’t my thing. Just wait for an opportunity, or maybe if you go to college like I do you may luck out and be able to join a club for gamers.
If they’re good at the game or not, however, would be another story :3
I’m going to a college for game art and design… Doesn’t mean I’m gonna be able to find people willing to play the game. A lot of game snobs scoff at anything with Sonic’s name on it that’s not on the Genesis.
As well as pick up 3 extra controllers if those friends don’t have 360’s/PS3’s…… :/
The game will let you do local split-screen while racing online.
Well there go my hopes of 100%ing another game…I only have 1 friend who would be remotely interested in this and I only have 2 controllers. Yay for having no gaming friends…

Someone at Sega must be REALLY proud of the “Takes AGES” thing. This is the third time they’ve had that for an achievement name and it probably won’t be the last.
Team Sonic really is a terrible achievement, though. I doubt many people who actively aim for achievements will be happy with that, and rightly so. Although it doesn’t seem like Sega are too interested in how well achievements are received, considering the mess that happened with SADX and the original ASR. Still, it wouldn’t hurt them to get to know their audience a bit better.
Eh, the achivements are fine. I mean, I might try to 100%, but not likely. Only games I’ve gotten 100% were Sonic Generations and Hell Yeah!
You beat green hill act 2 in under a minute?

I eventually managed to get it, after trying for months, but I’m sure it was just a fluke.
It’s not that difficult, I haven’t pulled off many of the S-ranks yet due to a slow PC running the game, but I’ve gotten sub-1 on Green Hill 1 … Flame Shield is vital.
Act 1 is ridiculously easy to get under a minute, flame shield isnt necessary

sod these trophies! i recently went and bought the first game (all stars racing) and half of those seem out of reach, or glitched – I’ve done a load of them, yet they refuse to “pop” up when i’ve done what they’ve asked (Eg boost start, hit sonic as amy with the hammer, 3 tricks in a jump and make it)
They gan get lost I think….my only 2 100%ers are generations and S4ep2……even the last one on s4ep 1 I’ got fed up of chasing (egg station without losing rings) it just saped away all my patience and fun for the game (the 4th “boss” – metropolis zone rip off- in particluar)
I 100 percented Generations, and the first 2 Sly Coopers games, and almost ASR considering I just got the PS3 version last week 😀 but the Team Sonic one? Wat. Like really….?
Only you and another one of our friends like Sonic. THe rest of my other friends don’t even care about Sonic. They should probably fix the achievment. I don’t know…
I may actually have a shot at Team Sonic around new years when my friends come over to party. Thankfully, even though they aren’t too fond of Sonic they loved the first game so it shouldn’t be too bad.
Now THOSE are real achievements, real accomplishments. It’s about time I see an achievement list where half the achievements are like “beat the stage, beat the game, perform a jump” lol
lol, If this was a realistic racing game, I’d get 1 freind round for Team Sonic, And we’d wreak every other car on the field and simply cruise all 4 players to the finish xD There has been trophys similar to this on other racing games.
So now, theres a part of me that wants a option for a mode where you could only take so much damage, even though that won’t happen.
I know 2 freinds who would play this with me, I might have to learn this game playing with 2 controllers.. o.o

Seriously, relax. 100-percenting the Xbox dashboard is not only not important and completely without reward, but also impossible. Just enjoy the game and forget about the couple of cheevos you can’t earn because there are whole games you’ll never even play, let alone earn 100% on.
Well it’s a good thing I don’t do achievements. 😛 They’re so pointless. It’s cool to have extra stuff to do in-game, but all you get are useless “gamerscore” points, and most of the time they ask you to do the stupidest things, so I just 100% complete the game, and screw the achievements. They suck.
oh fu*k team sonic achievement is serious i might have a shot at that visit my cousins with there ps3 controllers and mine, but not even finish an event with four people but all of the local players have to become the top 4? damn sega thats how you guys are doing? CHALLENGE EXCEPTED! im for sure 100% this game, did that the first and doing it in the sequel
