WELL! Good day to you TSS! Good day to you! How are you!? It’s April Fools Day! …What do you mean it’s over? Oh very well, here’s the news of the last week.
Monday
- For Nintendo 3DS users living in the EU, confirmation finally came that Sonic Triple Trouble and several other Sega Game Gear games would finally be coming to the E-Shop. All this technology, and we want to play Game Gear games! MADNESS!
Tuesday
- For you… the day Crush 40 dropped hints at their new material, it was a Tuesday, for Crush 40, it was a… Tuesday? TUESDAY!
- We also reported on the goings on over at Joypolis in Japan and it’s smaller bite sized attraction that’s opened up during the refurbishment.
Wednesday
- The 4 year old fan project Sonic 2 HD released a demo of the game, prompting fans to yell “Owww pretty!” and anti-virus software to yell “PANIC!”
- First4Figures teased their new Modern Sonic Statue prompting fans to yell “Owww Pretty!” and wallets to yell “PANIC!”
Thursday
- Amazon released details regarding Meccano’s new Sonic toys, strengthening rumors of a new All-Stars Racing Game and making merch collectors weak at the knees.
Friday
Sunday (April Fools Day)
- Good gracious, what a busy day for news! First of all Right Said Fred & Cash Cash collaborating on next Sonic game!
- Plushies used in a Sonic Adventure promotional advert turned up in a lost tribal village!
- But sadly… Big the Cat was put into retirement… Oh sad… … … why are you still reading the Sunday section?
Yes we had some fun and games with April Fools Day. But did you spot some of the hidden references and links in our updates? Have a look at T-Bird’s Right Said Fred update the title of the new Crush 40 album… could that be an anagram? And that colon by the word ‘glory’ is… is that a link?
As for the lost sonic plushies story. I put a few clues and references in there. How many did you spot? Explorer Drake Croft, know any video game explorers with those names? Kazuma Kiryu corporation? Hmm? Who could that be? Photographer Frank West, didn’t he used to cover wars? Finally, the tribe called Sonic “Ffyliaid Ebrill” I wonder what would happen if you put that in google translate, and translate it from Welsh to English.

Haha, all those April Fools articles were fun XD. The bigger the lie, the easier it is to believe. Hell, when T-Bird posted that ‘Crush 40 ver.’ I was well and truly gone screaming “OMG CRUSH 40!!!!!”. How foolish I was. Great fun, though! XD
