Summer of Sonic 2012 Website Launches

Although you’re still going to have to wait another five months for the event itself, the Summer of Sonic website is now up and running with a swanky new look and a funky-fresh logo!

Although nothing is being revealed yet and ticket applications have not been announced, you can still head over to the site and register your interest for the event.

What’s more, Summer of Sonic is always looking for fan input – so the question is put to you guys and girls….do you have any great ideas for Summer of Sonic? Maybe you’d like a particular guest to come along, or an old face to return? If you do, head over to the SoS site and let the team know about it in the comments!

  1. Showcase the TSS Music Album some way or another! 😀 What better way to advertise the community!

On that note, once we get the 2012 edition started, you can always ask us to prepare a tracklist for SoS. XD

  2. Again, off subject (sorry) but do any of you kind fellows know where to find some sonic the hedgehog font?
    Sorry 4 disturbing :I

        1. really? Thats where I got it from. It worked fine. You could go to Sonic Wreaks Depositary though. That is a second option

  3. The offical date of The Summer of Sonic 2012 + The official website for The Summer of Sonic 2012 =
THE COUNTDOWN TO THE SUMMER OF SONIC 2012 HAS BEGUN!

Now about that live stream for us living in the States……..derp.

  4. Team Sonic vs Team Robotnik!

Get the VA’s of both as a guests, and have them duke it out in a series of quizes and games! Of course crowd participation is required! XD

  5. Well… How’s about a MEGA Speedrun contest? Players will speed their way through Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Sonic CD, Knuckles Chaotix, Sonic Spinball and Sonic 3D Blast as quickly as they can, for the chance to win all of the First4Figures Sonic Statues and a all new unannounced statue! It would be so AWESOME! *duckface*

So guys, what do you think?

    1. I would love that idea. I can pretty much beat Sonic 2 in about 20 minutes. If this were to become a reality, I better start training! XD

    2. i would love that too but why knuckles chaotix? most of us havent really played that one so we won’t get most of the game still i would love this

    3. It would be fun. But when you mean all of the First4Figures Statues, do you also mean the Sonic 20th Anniversary statue as well?

    1. Because it’s proven that people in Europe love Sonic a whole lot more than any other Region.

      1. Not necessarily. It just so happens that we happen to live in the UK. On the other hand, America is a very large country, and because of that it would cost a lot more money to host an event like that – with much less chance of success.

  6. I would actually recommend a one hour sonic drawing contest, which first became popular by Darkspeeds and inspired other artists to do the same challenge. Something along those lines?

  7. Perhaps attempt to gather several voice actors for a Q&A – maybe all of the Sonic voice actors (White, Griffith, Drummond and Craig Smith). Or the Club Sonic singalongs – that looked like great fun on YouTube.
