  1. I am fairly surprised this wasn’t done sooner! What a great idea, I would love to own the Advance games on another format.
Actually, if they released the three as a trilogy pack for Nintendo DS, I would gobble it up like there’s no tomorrow!

    1. To be honest, I was thinking of the same idea! Maybe if they release a port on the 3DS, that would be good to! 😀

  2. Can they really do that without changing the name? I thought the ‘Advance’ in the title would be claimed by Nintendo.

    1. Advance is just a word; Nintendo making lawsuits over Sega using it would be about as ridiculous as, say, Bethesda suing Mojang for using the name “Scrolls” in the title of an RPG.

      Wait a second…

  3. Gosh SEGA sure do love their ports!
And I’m sure we love them for it. Or in spite of it. Something.

    1. At least it’s Sonic Advanced and not just another genesis game port.

DON’T GET ME WRONG! I love those games, it’s just that they have so many ports, and some of them suck… *points at GBA version of Sonic 1 and Classic Collection*

  4. Awesome! I hope this makes it’s way to Eurpoe and on IOS devises :3 same thing for Advance 2 and 3 if they get ported! 😀

  5. Mobile version have only sonic and thrre worlds, while SMARTPHONE HAS EVERYTHING!?…..i don’t want to live on that world anymore.

  6. The Mobile version was made by Gamesloft, Not Sega in house. So that’s why it had just Sonic 3 Stages and 1 Boss.

  7. I have had my copy of Advance, along with CV Circle of the Moon. Been quite a awhile.
Hope Android users have a ball with a game we loved on another handheld. ^_^

  8. Wow, great!
It would be cool if they made an advance 4 with shadow, but that’s not going to happen, games aren’t made for advance any more (it’s just a word, but that’s why the series was named that), and SEGA are trying to make new games now, leaving quite a bit of the past behind them
