Sonic Generations Playable at New York Comic Con

SEGA has revealed via their Twitter feed that Sonic Generations will be playable at this year’s New York Comic Con, which is set to take place from October 13th-16th at the Javits Center. SEGA says attendees will find the game located at the Archie Comics booth, but it’s currently unclear which versions of the game will be there and what stages will be playable. We’d expect at least the console version to be there with Green Hill Zone and City Escape playable like at other recent events.

      1. true,true…..Its just im getting a bit tired of all this….and now that you think about, I thought Sega was suppose to release a second demo around october?

      1. He is just joking. Besides Mean Bean Machine and Sonic Spinball spin-off games they have never shown any interest in putting the Anerican cartoon/comic characters in a Sonic game. Except maybe that canned game that has next to no info except a small video clip.

  6. NYCC huh.. they don’t hold a candle next to SDCC! .. except when it comes to Sonic Generations demos (we only got GHZ.. but Aaron was there 😀 )

  7. quick question does ANYONE know how we will get the chaos emeralds in the console version of the game at all i’v heard how were going to get them at all

      50 rings + star posts sounds good.. but it’ll probably be an end of act/level deal.. denying you Super Sonic in every level until you beat the game ._.

    1. We don’t know, but the ps3 & 360’s are basically the same, but one of them runs smoother than the other, and it might be the 360 version.

  15. i wonder they would have the comic con edition issue again? i know they had 1,000 at the last comic con but what if sega kept a few extras as a secret?

  16. hmm this is gonna be hard for me working at the con and trying to get the chance to play the game, gonna be taking alot of breaks lol
