SEGA has now removed the Nintendo 3DS and PC versions of Sonic Generations that were listed in SEGA Sammy’s earnings report May 17th. NeoGAF member Shiggy, who admins claim is very reliable, says retail sources have also been informed about this by SEGA. Now this could mean that the listings were an error or it could be SEGA patching a leak. Hopefully SEGA will speak out on this soon.
In others news, Cream the Rabbit’s Japanese voice actress Sayaka Aoki has revealed on her blog that she has been recording some voice work for Sonic Generations and posted the above image.

PULL BACK! PULL BACK! Cool to know that other characters will be getting lot’s of face time XD I know I’m going to be hated for saying this but I hope Silver doesn’t cameo in the game. The last thing I need to hear is him calling 2 Sonic’s the IBBLIS TRIGGA!
Why? I mean it could be great to remade old bosses like Silver, Shadow and Metal Sonic battles
Well that actually may be one exception for Silver being in the game, the ability to kick his a$$ would be pretty fun lol. But in all seriousness the reason I’m not too fond of Silver is because almost everything about him is not orignal. From his character design to his character plot in 06 (Sonic 3 anybody?) he’s just not been shown as his own character besides the abiliy to use the force. The closest he got to character development was his final cutscene, which of course had to be the ending. Also, I’m surprised you didn’t add Knuckles to that boss list. I know nowadays they’re no longer considered rivals (Even SEGA considers Sonic and Robotnik as rivals not enemies XD) but I still wouldn’t mind seeing Knux getting decieved by Robotnik or who ever the villan is in this game lol.
I’d think that would be a cool idea. Especially since Classic Sonic will be in the game, imagine Silver calling Classic Sonic “TINY IBLIS TRIGGA!” and see how he reacts to it.
Somehow when I picture that out loud it sounds like an Asian/Chinese speech stereotype. x_X lol
Oh, and we don’t know for sure that Silver will cameo as part of the Sonic 06 storyline. SEGA said the game wasn’t cana so they may or may not include it. Who knows.
Did they ever make a clear statement on whether or not any hand held games would be included? (Or maybe everyone just forgot about them since handhelds to home platforms are like snack cakes are to a feast. XD)

I almost forgot Cream existed. I wasn’t really expecting anyone other than the big 3, Amy, Eggman, and maybe Shadow to show up to be honest.
I may not be a Cream fan, but this is welcome news to me. I hope the Chaotix and Rouge make an appearance too.

Couldn’t the voicework be for Mario and Sonic? I really do hope there is a large cast of characters (such as those in SA, SA2 and Sonic Heroes) but I think its more likely to by Mario and Sonic at London 2012. Afterall, they will need to record new clips for that since they haven’t got any clips that would suit it from the new cast yet. In the previous games Cream said a few things when you made a foul so that’s more probably surely.
Im also pretty sure the games trailers level walkthroughs also released today have PC tagged underneath… I might be wrong but im sure i saw it, cant be bothered to go back and check lol

Lots of websites, including GameSpot, added 3DS and PC versions after those versions were listed on SEGA’s financial reports, since it was such solid confirmation. If it turns out it was just an error, then they’ll remove them. We’ll have to wait and see what SEGA has to say about all of this.

We don’t know yet. SEGA’s removed both versions from their financial report, but they could have done that because they’ve not been officially announced yet. Could be that it was an error, yes, but nothing’s been confirmed yet.
This is very interesting news. I never expected Cream the Rabbit to make a cameo in Sonic Generations but it only makes the game better with a large cast of characters in cut scenes. Her first appearance was in the Sonic Advance 2 so perhaps it would make it part of the modern Generations history. Cream and Amy have been like sisters since Sonic Heroes. In fact Cream is like a reincarnation of Classic Amy Rose. Classic Amy was around close to the same age, had good manners, kidnapped by Eggman and waits for someone to help her, plus childish and a crybaby sometimes. I hope to see both Cream and Classic Amy together in this game. Modern Amy would form another Team Rose with them, lol.
we may not have Sonic Generations for PC Or 3DS but we have cream the rabbit as a appearance!

So, if Cream may be in the game, what Sonic title will she be from? Is it perhaps Heroes? I think that’s the only time she’s appeared in a main title. (Sans Shadow the Hedgehog.)

Boss fights with Knuckles, Metal Sonic and SHadow I’d Say. As for 06, I wouldnt time Silver, but I dont want TOO many characters appearance. And the alternate timelines 4 Silver and Blaze just makes things confusing. Not totally against it though. I like Cream though.
Somewhat in this thread mentioned Crisis City. Visually it was a beautiful level. Favourite level from the game, w/ Sonic and Silver. I would love for it to return.
NNOOOOOOOOOOO!! I don’t understand SEGA sometimes. Why have they removed the PC version? Surely it can not be hard for a huge corporation like SEGA to port the Xbox 360/PS3 version to PC , and in the long run it’ll only make the company more money because more people (like me) will be able to buy it? Surely!?? Hopefully its just them keeping things hidden and the PC version will be revealed soon.

Nah, Sayaka Aoki most likely was told on what ‘s all right to be announced to the public and what’s not.
And SEGA of Japan have been pretty much quite good at keeping secret, so from now, the ‘secret game’ might be ready to be announced.
It’s unlikely to be Sonic Generations, since Sonic Generations don’t seem featured such a developed storyline.
It should be noted that the Japanese title of ‘Sonic Generations’ still isn’t confirmed yet, and the title ‘Sonic Generations’ might have been used as a decoy for other non-Sonic Generations game(s).
