New Videos, Screens For Sonic Colors Wii, DS

Sonic Colors is coming out in less then a month, and SEGA is finally showing the game off. Today, they’ve released three new videos based on the green, pink, and orange wisp powers, as well as the fire and rocket powers on the DS.

  11. I knew the spindash was returning for the pink wisp but I forgot and it caught me off guard. But MAN I’m diggin’ the pink wisp so much! XD

    Also, did you see that scenery when Sonic was using the Green Hover at the end of that last video there? My goodness!

    Sonic 4 was a great game with terrible physics. That busts it down to a 6/10 at best. If Colors isn’t at least an 8/10, SEGA’s efforts to put quality back into the Sonic brand will be voided.

  13. i personally thought sonic 4 was incredable i was oozing with excitement while playing it and cant wait for the newepisodes to come out the only thing is i feel i have waited mentally ages fora game that i completed with all emeralds in less than 12 hours hopefully when all the other episodes come out it will feel more complete and i HOPE that the extraepisodes are a tad cheaper altho we all no they wont be lol

    and as for sonic colours i cant wait this game looks insanely amazing maybe even better than shadow the hedgehog 😛

    Took me about 3 hours to complete the game with all of the Emeralds. Not sure how long it took to get all of the Achievements and Avatar Awards… 8-12 hours, I suppose. Most of that time was spent playing through E.G.G. Station over and over trying to get that stupid Sonic Costume Head Avatar Award. Ugh! The funny thing is that I’m in the beta for the new 360 dashboard, and the new Avatars aren’t compatible with Avatar Awards or most Avatar Marketplace items yet, so I don’t even get to use the stupid thing.

  17. I think the music that plays during the Hover power sounds a little bit like Dreams of an Absolution.

    C’mon, listen to the song, then watch the hover video.

  20. wow…um this might be the 1st two sonic game that I buy while it’s new! I won’t be waiting for that price to drop because this 1 looks like wit will be worth it (and I’m talking about BOTH versions)

    the pink wisp is by far my favorite

    Their efforts will be voided to you personally. Not trying to be rude to you at all but you are not a spokesperson for the Sonic fanbase. The majority of reviewers and fans think the game is good (it holds an 80% on GameRankings and an 84/100 on Metacritic). Yes the physics compared to the originals are a bit off but put that aside and the game is pretty solid. I think in the long run Sonic 4 will be in the same breath as the originals. But from the looks of it Sonic Colors may be better than all of them.

  26. Pssh, Sonic 4 wasn’t a big deal in the first place other than the fact it was “Sonic 4”. It was just a little classic-styled game, which is like a mini-game compared to the mainstream since we’ve advanced. So I knew not to get too excited. Plus, going nuts, getting the game as soon as it comes out even being awkward enough to skip school for it only to beat it within an hour? Yeah I saw that coming. XD Personally, I would wait a little bit and not rush things.

    And why would SEGA’s efforts be voided? If you think about it the games only slowly got worse and for a short period of time. Even if they’re not as good now, they’re getting better than the previous attempts each time. Not only that but it doesn’t matter how many times they make a “bad game”, each new game is an individual possibility of being good or bad. So each new game it’s possible for a great game to appear nomatter what happened in the past.

    So take that, Sonic Colors haterz! o-o

  28. I’m loving the hype for this game. The last time I was this excited for a sonic game was Sonic Heroes.
