Nintendo’s E3 press conference is over and among the 3rd party publishers confirmed to be creating titles for Nintendo’s new 3DS device SEGA’s name was shown. After the conference a document hit the net(displayed above) showing a list of titles confirmed to to be in the works by various publishers reveals both Sonic and the Super Monkey Ball franchises will be hitting 3DS. Nothing apart from the tentative titles is shown but we’ll keep an eye out for anything substantial.

My goodness, after a massive drought of Sonic news there’s now waves of new games being announced all at once!!!!
So many sonic games have been announced! Please say it’ll stop now.

This is the equivalent to a flood happening during a MASSIVE drought.
I’ll have to wait and see what’s what I guess.
Raining on everyones parade once again I should say that though I like the idea of some ‘3D’ Sonic games I really just want Sega to focus on one game at a time.
Then maybe they’d be more anticipation.

I hope it’s another Sonic Rush title with better gameplay.
I’d like to see SEGA take full advantage of the 3DS’s capabilities by having a 3D Sonic game on a handheld for the first time ever. SEGA needs to stress that 3D Sonic CAN work, and what better way to do that than to bring all of the /fun/ aspects of the console experience to a handheld.
Honestly I’d like that even more than an actual Sonic Rush 3.

Paper Mario… Starfox 64… Animal Crossing… Sonic… Kid Icarus… It keeps getting better and better, I haven’t been this happy for a new console since I got my original DS back in 2004…
Sonic on the Nintendo 3DS does have potential but I’m a bit worried however to whether or not Sonic should move to 3D on both handhelds and consoles. But with the new hardware that the 3DS has to offer I can also see Sonic in 2D being even more enjoyable, for example Sonic Rush 3 produced in the style of Rivals graphically would be just awesome.
Thou don’t misunderstand me from what I have posted, I do believe SEGA is capable of making a superb 3D Sonic game.
