Sonic Adventure series Marathon for Hope for Haiti! Donate now!

This just in from GoNintendo, seems some Sonic fans are playing through Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 in a 24 hour marathon to raise donation money for Haiti. This event was organized by A Challenger Approaches! Charity Speed Runs, in the interest of raising at least $25 for the organization. At the moment, they are up to $8.15. You can check out their speed run below. The link you need to click to donate is under it. I will personally be donating some money later tonight

Regrettably, it doesn’t appear that we can embed UStream into this news post. You can find the live stream here. You can also join a live chat that can be seen alongside the window.

To donate, A Challenger Approaches! has provided this link and “ChipIn”. You will need a Pay Pal account to donate.

The Sonic Stadium may link to retailers and earn a small commission on purchases made from users who click those links. These links will only appear in articles related to the product, in an unobtrusive manner, and do not influence our editorial decisions in any way.

  1. and Talcahuano, Concepcion, Dichato, Constitucion in Chile???? remember that was earthquake 8.8 🙁

  2. Comparing Chile’s quake to Haiti’s quake is like comparing getting hit with 20 Rings to getting hit with none.

  3. While I like the idea of helping Haiti, speed running through SA1 and 2 to raise money is a little stupid.

  4. I’m with Fly Boy. This way they are appealing to a video game audience, trying to get them involved.

The most important thing is that they raised money. Isn’t that what it’s all about?

  6. Well, in my town we have the Global Council there’s 13 people in the global council and I’m one of them and we gave Haiti over 1500 $ and we gave other organisations money too. So I’ve alredy helped some people in haiti out and I have nearly no money right now. But I’m glad that bein a sonic fan can help people out. =)

OMG! I do notice that it says it’s 4 breast cancer. However, either cause would be helpful and resonable.
