  1. Damn, they’re still calling him Dr. Eggman……

I was hoping that if they were taking Sonic back to his roots, that included Eggman’s ridiculous name. Bring back Robotnik!

  2. Really. People need to quit complaining over his name. I liked Robotnik too, but it’s Eggman now so get used to it.

  3. Really appreciate your extra work Archangel 🙂 Staying up late last night bit me in my ass today but it was worth it! u.u ZzzZ

  4. @ ArchangelUK

Thanks for the extra news. Guess it’s 110% official now.

Though by labeling the game Sonic 4 the pressure to create an outstanding game is going to be immense.

  5. The episodes are still worrying me lol
how many are we gonna be getting and how big are they D=

  6. Don’t forget, we’ve already had episodic Sonic games. Sonic 3 was technically Sonic 3 episode 1 and Sonic & Knuckles was episode 2. The two were meant to be a full game, but were split in half.

  7. the episodic thing will prevent a werehog or fishing.
the episode will be about 1-3 hours long because Sega won’t add a gimmick.
in the end Sonic 4 Complete will be probably the longest game of the classic ones and still is pure speed.

  8. Even tho they r not calling him Dr Robotnik that doesn’t remove the nastalga of playing a proper 2D sonic game

  9. I hope there’s a regular game mode where you can have a seamless experience throughout the story mode. If it’s all broken up amongst a stage select screen, things could get iffy with 1UP (for a lack of a better term) distributions and chaos emeralds. I don’t want to be able to just farm 1UPs on easier levels, and get the chaos emeralds whenever the hell I want, and constantly retry until I get them all :\ That would take out a significant portion of the difficulty.

Here’s to hoping the stage select is completely separated from the game mode.

  10. I keep hearing the reportsdiscuss getting free of cost on-line give uses so i have already been looking around for the most effective web page for getting one.

  11. It’s interesting to see a stage slection option, reminds me of Chaotix. But still, I’d be nice to play in a definite order, like the classic games.

What’s so good about this “HD” stuff? I see people killing and looting over this subject, it seems as if a game played in 1080p is an mega-awesome-experience like never before, while 780p is screencrap. Come on, it’s cool, but it’s nothing that awesome either.
