It’s been a depressing fact of life for UK Sonic fans when it comes to Jazwares range of fantastic figures. Being ‘exclusive’ to Toys R Us stores but so far only in the US has made them very difficult and costly to get hold of. All of that is about to change. Following the announcement of the new ASR figures TSS got in touch with Jazwares to ask if their favourite blue hedgehog and friends would be available to purchase in the UK anytime soon. Jazwares replied and its good news, figures will be heading here “very soon.”
Jazwares has teamed up with Tomy who will be distributing the line of figures and it’s expected like in the US the range will be available to purchase from Toys R Us stores. Further e-mails have been sent to try and ascertain more details such as exactly which figures to look out for and when but until we get the answers this is all we know.
Obviously TSS will be sure to keep you updated on this developing story.
Not strictly true, considering you can get a Sonic and the Black Knight Jazware figure at just about any comicbook shop.

Comic book stores import them. We’re talking about them actually being officially distributed/sold here.
I’m in the U.S. and the Toys ‘R Us I go to STILL have no Shadow, Silver, and werehog figures :/
You are lucky to not live in sweden!! They dont have any Sonic stuff only the games:/ I am lucky if i can get my hands on some Sonic stuff that is in sweden and i have from Tradera (it is like Ebay) Got the nr 1 Sonic Archie comic that is in swedis but it is hard to get so i was lucky!!:D

You can use the Toys “R” Us website to check and see if they have them in your store before you go shlepping all the way there… It’s a useful tool and it saves gas money! =)
Are there any figures of Tails or Amy?
🙁 There goes my beer money I was making selling and shipping stuff overseas! It totally takes the fun out of it when everyone everywhere can get a figure. Boo!

But what about ol’ Australia down here? There isn’t a single Sonic figure ANYWHERE in the country (save for the Werehog with the Unleashed pre-order, but that doesn’t really count)!
@ M : Just before I moved from Australia, I saw Toy Island Sonic X figures and bendables at K-Mart, a comic store in Melbourne also stocked the first batch ReSaurus Sonic Adventure figures ($100 for 1 of each of the 3.. but I had already bought ’em off eBay)
Keep your eyes peeled, we do get Sonic stuff every now and then 🙂

Just a quick update, Toys R Us replied saying they don’t know about anything heading to their website, totally avoiding my question about them heading to stores. Tomy say they don’t have information yet but will let me know as soon as they do. One out of two isn’t bad and I suppose we’ll find out eventually anyway through other channels.

Yes It Is Deppressing,I Get My Figures From Ebay,I Get them form Usa Wich Takes Weeks To Get Here Cause I Am In The Uk.If You Go to uk argos sight there is A Sonic Figure.Sonic And The black Knight To Be Exact.Well,When They Come It’s Time To Raid Teh Stores! ONWARD! Lol
