Green Hill + Green Hill = Euphoric

Green Hill + Green Hill = Euphoric

Just a quicky for you guys here on a chill Sunday.  I stumbled upon this Green Hill mash-up earlier and I thought that it sounded like the greatest thing ever.  YouTube user, Akuago220, combines the original Green Hill orchestration on the Genesis and lays it over the updated version found in Sonic Adventure 2: Battle.

It’s ear sex, man.

  1. hmm…sound really nice 😮

If Sega put Green Hill in Project Needlemouse, this should be used…

  2. In all honesty, I just don’t see the hype with Green Hill. So many remakes, remasters, and renditions – it’s nuts. Yes, it’s got good music, and yes, this little mix is nice; but really? Where’s the love for the other levels, like Sandopolis?

  3. Green Hill Zone is the most iconic level in the Sonic series, so naturally it’s going to be whored out. That being said, I enjoy Green Hill Zone very much. This remix is pretty good. I’m always looking for more mixes of Green Hill Zone!

What I’d like to see is a mix of GHZ done in the vein of what Jun Senoue did for Angel Island Zone on Smash Bros. Brawl. That’d be pretty epic.

  4. I’m with Stuhp. It is an iconic level, yes. Best theme? Far from it. I think there are other song mash-ups more worthy of their own news articles. Seriously.

  5. Once again Aku does another good thing, other than the Brawl Taunts (Machinima Remakes) and the Weegee Invasion Machinima.

  6. *heavy panting* Whew! That’s the best ear sex I’ve had in a while! Let me have a few minutes…I’ll be ready for round two in a bit.

  7. GHZ had an awesome track. Only beaten by Green Hills Zone from Sonic 2 (8-bit).

    Yeah, I love that game…
