It was going to be one day, running into several days. However you look at it, TSS’ third birthday is too packed in one day to have you do all the things on show during the one afternoon that you can do after getting back from school, college or work.
Which is why TSS’ third Birthday bash is now going to span the whole weekend. It was going to anyway, but we are going to space our activites out into time slots that are best for you.
First off, FRIDAY:
- Announcement of Operation Grandslam. It will be a new feature, not a simple update of any section at TSS, and should rock the foundations of the Sonic site world if this turns out to be well-recieved.
- Dreadknux goes LiVE on us! During 7pm-9pm GMT (UK) time, Dread will be on Sega Sonic Radio: LiVECAST giving you the best beats, and his own hammed up British voice! The voice is an attraction in itself, such a sexy voice… not that I’m biased or anything ;D
- Get to the #IRC Chat room also, as SSR will be focusing on the TSS Chat room and we will be playing games and quizzes and such. It’ll be a grand old time ^^
SATURDAY:
- This is the official start of the TSS TREASURE HUNT. It’s been moved to Saturday so that you got a whole day to find all the clues, and basically it’s best to dedicate a whole day for it. The prize is another new feature exclusive to TSS, and you will like it very much 🙂
- SSR: LiVECASTs and the IRC Chat Room will also be heavily focused upon, as Dread gets back on the mic and also gives reports on the Treasure Hunt!
SUNDAY:
- SonicSpeedL and a team of other TSS fans who regularly visit the Sonic Stadium Message Board (SSMB) will have a TSS-exclusive comic ready for launch on Sunday. All comic fans should check this out, especially SSMB members – as it will feature many SSMB members too, if not in the premier issue then in future issues!
- Think we’re going to let you go high and dry and give you a chance to catch your breath? Think AGAIN! An official announcement will be made today as to the actual date for the SONIC SITE AWARDS 2003 CEREMONY! This date marks THE event of the year for many webmasters, as it recognises both large and small, old and newcoming Sonic sites for their efforts in web design and Sonic content. It’s just one party after another eh? 😉
After this party, Dreadknux will be rocking the mic on a regular basis on Sega Sonic Radio: LiVECAST! TSS’ Third Birthday marks the birth of “Dreadknux’s Sonic Hour!”, and it will be at least a fornightly radio show, so make sure you tune in if you like Dread’s eccentricity 😉

The Sonic Stadium has this morning reached it’s 200,000th visit count!!!! ^_______^ This is a tremendous birthday present in itself for TSS from you, the Sonic fan. We thank you for coming to TSS as your #1 Resource in Sonic the Hedgehog, and Friday marks a new dawn, a whole new beginning, for Sonic sites in general!
