Sonic Team Website Launches MiniToy Archive, Sonic Adventure 2 Jigsaw Puzzle

Got some time to kill? Sonic Team certainly has, it seems – in between making incredible hedgehog-focused platforming games, the studio has dabbled in some crude but cute Flash-based micro-games in the form of a ‘MiniToy’. This week, Sonic Team’s website updated with an archive of these internet playthings, along with a new Chao Fortunes toy and a Sonic Adventure 2 jigsaw puzzle.

We’ve covered the Eggman clock before, which was published on SonicTeam.com when the studio’s official website hit one million visits. But that was only the fourth in a series of MiniToys. On the archive page, you can see a Chao Snowdome (which activates when you click on the glass), an Eggman Toy (which bobbles about when you hover your mouse over it) and a HUmar attack doll from Phantasy Star Online (with changing weapons).

A new MiniToy was also published; Chao Fortunes. When you click the Chao, the cute little critter brings up a board that rates your future chances at love, success and money. You can also play a jigsaw puzzle now, the image of which features some key art from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

You’ll need Macromedia Flash on your internet browser installed in order to play with these MiniToys, but you can also download them onto your computer directly with links to Mac or Windows versions. Check it out here.
