Sonic Advance and SA2 Battle Japanese Box Art Revealed

SEGA Japan has just updated its official website and revealed the box artwork for the next two Sonic game releases in the process. Read on to see the rather colourful covers for the Nintendo Gamecube re-release of Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Advance, Sonic’s first foray onto Nintendo’s Game Boy Advance.

With the Sonic Adventure 2 Battle cover, SEGA has created some fancy new artwork featuring the six main characters facing off against one another. We think it looks rather cool! Gamecube boxes look to be a different size in Japan compared to other territories, so we can’t wait to see what it will look like in Europe and the US.

Sonic Advance goes with a similarly colourful approach, focusing on the four main playable characters (and a Chao) against a checkered background (probably harking back to the classic 2D Sonic games?). We can’t wait for these games to come out, so hurry up already SEGA!
