Sonic Advance could be limited to a Japan-only release, according to information currently published on the official Game Boy Advance website. If that’s the case, it would be really maddening – and it wouldn’t be a great way to kick off Sonic’s third-party venture either.
Nintendo’s GBA website lists the game as an upcoming title in production, along with a number of other Sega projects. But, while ChuChu Rocket has a June 11 release date for the West, Sonic Advance is categorised as a game that may only be released in Japan (or worse, won’t be released at all).
More news on this as we get it – it’s likely that this is placeholder information, as the game is so far away from any kind of release, but maybe not. We’d love to be wrong…
