After anĀ initial delay to beef up security to the game’s netcode, SEGA has announced that Phantasy Star Online Version 2’s release date has been pushed back again in Japan.
Sonic Team revealed that the game will now see domestic release on June 7th, owing to the discovery of a number of gameplay bugs that occur when playing over a network. It was previously slated for May 31st, and originally planned for a May 17th launch.
As for the US version of the game, we still don’t have a clue. SEGA is keeping tight-lipped about any sort of schedule, but word on the street is that we could see it appear come mid-Summer.
