The 60th issue of IDW’s Sonic the Hedgehog series is right around the corner, and to entice fans further the comic publisher has revealed a special variant cover that is only available online.

The below cover has been created by artist Gigi Dutreix, and makes a big deal out of the number ’60’ (which is a bit off as it’s not exactly a milestone issue number for comics). It looks pretty cool though, so if you want to get a copy you’ll have to do it via IDW’s website (pre-order price is $10).

It’s reported that a special foil version of this very cover will also be released as a Convention Exclusive, meaning you’ll have two ways to get this new variant. The foil version sounds like it’ll probably be very good indeed.
