SEGA Launches Charity Stream Series for GameBlast 22

SEGA has formally kicked off a weekend of streams to raise money for the UK’s annual GameBlast charity event. A group consisting of SEGA reps and fan streamers have come together to collectively support, in aid of games accessibility charity Special Effect.

The streamers will take turns to burn through as many SEGA games as possible, with many focusing on Sonic the Hedgehog titles. The publisher has set up a Tiltify page where viewers can watch the action and donate all in the same place – after a few days of activity, the group has already smashed a £3000 goal and at time of writing has nearly reached £12,500 of a revised £15,000 goal.

Check out the GameBlast 22 charity event details – in which many different streamers and publishers are taking part, besides SEGA – right here. And we’d like to wish all the streamers, SEGA and everyone taking part the best of luck in raising money for a great cause!
