It’s the end of the arc as we know it!
The preview for Sonic the Hedgehog #284 has been released, and it’s a high energy start to the end of the Shattered World Crisis! The Freedom Fighters have made their plans to finally fix the planet, and the end seems to be in plain sight.
But don’t count on Eggman to be taking this lying down; having found out about the plan, he’s got his own counter-attack in motion. With a multi-pronged assault from the Battle Bird Armada, the Hooligans with the Witchcarters, and Phage, he’s going to ensure that his Dark Gaia scheme has no more interference from any would-be heroes! This is “Panic in the Sky”: part 1.

Hard to keep an eye on Sonic comics news after Sega announced their 2017 projects.
But I’m still excited to see where things go after the Shattered arc ends, they may start doing more original stuff or they may continue adapting some of the still uncovered games, also if the new 2017 game story is good I hope that it eventually gets adapted and fleshed out more in the comics, the same goes for Sonic Mania regarding the Sonic Mega Drive comic.
Well after panic in the sky the issue after the event will look back at the sonics past in the comics
STH 288 looks to be a four part arc.
