Sonic the Hedgehog 2014 Calendar Images Pop Up on Amazon

For the best part of a decade, Sonic fans have looked at their walls and yelled “SOMEONE MAKE A SONIC CALENDAR! I DON’T KNOW WHAT DAY IT IS!”

Well good news! Pyramid International announced earlier this month that they were making a Sonic Calendar. The announcement only included a cover image and no examples of what artwork would be inside.

But thanks to an updated listing from Amazon, we now have an image of the reverse side of the calendar, which happens to show every image contained within it. As many predicted, it’s stock art. Although saying that, it’s not by any means a bad thing. Some of the images look pretty cool and dare I say slightly artistic? I really like the one of Sonic looking at the wall of rings.

  3. Meh….no Modern. I like Classic, but I rather have Modern. Just me, though. I’ll skip this one, and stick with my Phineas and Ferb calendar.

    1. Forbidden planet might stock it, though it should be very easy to import. Amazon will almost certainly ship it.

  5. YES! This is perfect! I am definitely going to get this calendar now! Sure it isn’t brand new artwork, but at least we don’t have to SUFFER WITH THOSE SAME EXACT, HORRID, 3D MODELS WE SEE OVER AND OVER AGAIN! Just the fact that these are all 2-D pictures is enough to convince me because those 3D models are getting on my nerves. Heck, I haven’t even seen 3 quarters of these pictures yet so this is basically all original & new artwork to me! 🙂 Here’s to Sonic 2014!

    1. Quite a few of the old 2D Sonic models were pretty bad too, but these ones are fantastic!

    This is looking pretty cool actually, nice retro style and a powerful nostalgia bomb, I dont like calendars to begin with but I want this.

    When I see that all I think is Sonic Adventure 2’s 2 player mode where he would keep saying that after collecting some rings to obtain a special move

  12. Even though I still print out the Sonic Channel Calendars with my color laser printer. I still am 200% SOOOOOLLLDDDD!!!!
