SEGA Sammy has released a PDF of their Japanese earnings report, and inside is the above chart listing titles for the current fiscal year. The chart reveals new platforms for Sonic Generations (second title down), including Nintendo 3DS and PC. If this is true and not a big mistake, then it’s good news for fans who would rather play on the go or on their computer. CVG has contacted SEGA UK, but they responded with “no comment”.
If we hear any confirmation, we’ll let you know.

I have a feeling that the PC version will be cancelled soon. SEGA has always announced that HD Sonic games will hit the PC, but never have. I remember Sonic 06 very well. Though I understand 06 was a major rush job and was impossible to port to PC so quickly. Hopefully SEGA can release it on PC though. Also if you guys are thinking about getting it for PC consider upgrading to at least a quad-core processor, having 4+ gigs of RAM, and having a graphics card in the line of the Radeon HD 4000 series. I’m sure you’ll need it thanks to the Hedgehog Engine. 😛
I have ATI Radeon HD 5770 so I dont think it would be much of a problem for me it would really be awesome if it had full DX11 Support

They said Sonic ’06 would come to PC but it never did. So we can’t be too sure but although I’m not gonna get it for PC anyway, I hope it comes to PC too.
I just hope there won’t be big differences between the home console and 3DS version like Sonic Colors. It was so unfair having all those extra characters and final Super Sonic battle just in the DS version.
… oh thank God! I hope this turns out to be true because it would save me having to buy a new console. I dont see why it wouldn’t be true, it wouldn’t be hard for Sonic Team to port the PS3/Xbox version of the game to PC, and it would only lead to more sales for the company. Please let this be true !!

The 3DS couldn’t possibly make a good port of Sonic Generations, and a Sonic Rush look-a-like of this game is just an insult.

How? The only disappointments Sonic fans have ever faced were Sonic and the Black Knight, Sonic 06, and Shadow the Hedgehog. Some some people actually liked these games.

If it weren’t for the damned guns, retarded vehicles, and Sonic tagging along, the game may have a been a bit less retarded. But sadly, that was the point of the game. Don’t get me wrong. I sort of like the game. But not too much. 😛

If this is true, think how happy SEGA is going to make all those PC fans 😀 I’m always hearing how ppl have pc’s instead of consoles, and I felt bad for them. This could be their chance to finally be excited for a Sonic game!!

PC can have the same version has the PS3/360, it could even end up with a better version of the game than the consoles (running at 60fps instead of 30fps, for example).

If it’s on PC there’d best be no DRMs sans Steam. I’m buying a video game to own it, not rent it. That being said, PC is my choice all the way. And I’ll grab the 3DS version to boot. Having a full blown console version with the addition of community mods? Yes please. Portable version as well? AND it’s the 3DS? Please and thank you!

It’s not Project Cafe, in the PDF presentation, a couple of lines below Sonic Generations there’s Virtua Tennis 4, it also has “PC” as a platform, where “PC” stands for “Personal Computer”.

ANDDDD, Again, the abomination Sonic ’06 looks nothing like this game. The direction of Sonic games these recent years have been much better than that piece of poop. And I’ve never heard of Unleashed coming to the 3DS… you can’t base future events off of things that have happened before. I can care less of a PC port, as I’m not a PC gamer, but it’s awesome for the people who do. You’re pretty pessimistic, it seems 🙂
