Great Eastern Entertainment continue their incredible line of Sonic-themed plushes with everyone’s favourite frog-finding robot E-102 Gamma!
The plush is the first incarnation of the Sonic Adventure character since the game’s release in 1998, and commands a significantly lower price than the ultra-scarce original fetches via online auctions.
The plush joins the 12″ range which also recently added Emerl and Tangle the Lemur to the roster.
The plush is now available via GE Entertainment’s website, grab them before they fly off the shelves!
If you rip him open, does he have a bird inside?
Not gonna lie, you’d be better off getting the first plush, this one looks really bad and cheap compared to it, the awesome metallic look and plastic eyes that really show off the fact that he’s a big bulky robot is ruined in this plush, they could’ve done better
Well, aside from the OUTRAGEOUS PRICE those old ones go for if you can find one at all, the GE one is made at a much smaller scale (12″ is not a lot of space to squeeze detail into a mass-market plush) and for a pretty reasonable price for that type and size of anime character plush. He may not be as detailed as one made two decades ago, but he makes up for it in cuteness. He’s even got tiny wheels on his legs! It’s adorable.
Oh my god, thank you for posting this. I saw this plush on eBay for almost twice the price, so I quickly Googled to see if anyone else was selling it before panic buying the only listing. GEE didn’t come up, but this did. Got one at the right price. 👍
