Bowser Jr. Joins The Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Arcade Edition Roster

Have you played the arcade edition of Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games Tokyo 2020? It’s basically the same version as the one you’ve seen on the Nintendo Switch. Well, it was the same until today. Because Bowser Jr.’s been added to the game’s roster of playable characters!

Bowser Jr. is 19th playable character for the game. He joins Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Wario, Yoshi, Daisy, Waluigi and Donkey Kong on Team Mario. Team Sonic, which has Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Dr. Eggman, Shadow, Silver, Blaze and Vector, is still unchanged.

The arcade version of the game released in January of this year, and the Switch version released last November. There’s also a version of mobile phones, Sonic at the Olympic Games – Tokyo 2020, that released in May of this year, but you won’t find any Mario characters in that one.

Will there be another character added to the roster? And if so, will it be a Sonic character? It’s possible, but hard to say for sure. Time will tell what future plans are for this game. But, hey, if you just so happen to see this game in your local arcade, see how well Bowser Jr. plays!
