I’m one of the people who paid full price for LW on 3DS back then. Never had I regretted spending so much on a Sonic game (well probably SU on Wii.) But I had some fun times with SU, Lost World’s best was probably the gyro special stages, mostly for being something totally fresh, even if I can’t play them in public.
A huge issue I have with it is that the 3D stages end incredibly fast, like, there’s a snowboarding segment that’s really cool but you have to go through a bunch of slow, boring puzzles just to get to it, and when it’s not a boring puzzle it’s shoehorned 2D sections.
