Sonic Celebrates the Holidays With Old Friends in New Animated Short

This short was written and directed by Tyson Hesse and produced by Yukio Kusumoto.

It’s great to see the chao again, though I can’t help but criticize the comedy here, especially that final bit with Sonic’s nose, that type of cartoony logic doesn’t suit Sonic it’s too bad this is the kind of joke they have to force in, when it really isn’t necessary, and up to that point it was already charming and nostalgic they didn’t have to go for extremes to end it.

    Visualizing a chao yanking Sonic’s nose off like some rubbery nonsense is terrible represention of the characters and just unfunny.

    I know I can’t be the only one who thinks this, but I haven’t seen anyone say it yet.
