HOlY SHIT! That variant is an homage to the Volume 61 of One Piece!
And Charmy’s not wearing his helmet!
Holy hell, it is Volume 61! Even the “ALL FOR ONE” title is in the font!
Yo ho ho, he took a bite of gum gum!
These covers always know how to get me stoked.
I’ve got my concerns with Genesis of a Hero but Sonic Universe is looking pretty good.
I feel like it’ll suffer from bad pacing and certain levels being blatantly omitted since they seem to be adapting one specific game per issue.
That’s exactly what I mean. It’s the same sort of problem the Other Arc had. The first Genesis Wave Arc I mean. I don’t know what the Arc itself is called.
It was called Genesis. 😛
Yup!
It’s this: http://sonic.wikia.com/wiki/Sonic:_Genesis.
I guarantee, though, that if these arcs weren’t limited to four issues, or if each issue could be longer, they’d be paced WAAAY better.
woah, they recommishioned Boom to get more comics?! Hell yeah, been buying them on my phone since comics arent really a thing you can easily get in the UK…
guess not, its just a collection of them… *sigh*
These are just reprints that come in the form of graphic novels.
Man, those Toei-styled Sonic CD covers look beautiful, even if the eyes and lack of shading on Yardley’s make that one look a little bit more like fanart than a professional comic cover.
Wait until Part 4 of “Genesis of a Hero,” which retells Sonic 3 & Knuckles! I mean, I can estimate these “Genesis of a Hero” issues to be the REAL Sonic Comic Origins of Sonic and his friends:
Part 1: Sonic Comic Origins: Sonic the Hedgehog & Dr. Eggman
Part 2: Sonic Comic Origins: Miles “Tails” Prower
Part 3: Sonic Comic Origins: Amy Rose & Metal Sonic
Part 4: Sonic Comic Origins: Knuckles the Echidna.
It kinda makes sense.
