Comic Preview: Sonic the Hedgehog #286

Eggman’s really pulling out all the stops in the penultimate issue of the Shattered World Crisis arc!

Sonic the Hedgehog #286 has had its preview released, and it’s cranking up to a world-shattering finale! Eggman seems to have all the aces right now; he has hold of Chip and is using him to control the Gaia Colossus, the Egg Dragoon is out to play, Eggmanland is working as it should and the Death Egg is still in town.

But our heroes aren’t going to lie down and take it! Sonic battles Eggman’s titanic forces in a bid to rescue Chip, the Freedom Fighters are fighting their way into the heart of the refinery, and Rotor is charging the Sky Patrol’s might against the deadly weaponry of Eggman’s sky base! Who’s going to see victory, and who’s going to see stars? Moreover, there may be something else to answer to in all the insanity! This is “Panic in the Sky”: part 3.

  1. Still a big fan of Skelly’s art, but a) Everything seems a bit cramped and blended together here and b) What’s up with Sonic on Page 4 frame 3?
