  1. When he gets hurt, actual rings come out of him? That’s awesome. I love how close it is to the game.

  2. “Hit the giant enemy crab in its weak spot for massive damage..”
Seems like Ian’s been taking notes from Aaron.. And I love it. XD

  3. Well the art looks fantastic… But the memes and the shout outs… So not worth it.

  4. Ian wasn’t kidsing when he said he wrote this just like a Classic game. So good and I can’t wait ’til Wednesday!

  5. Am I the only one who imagines Jaleel White as Classic Sonic in the Post-Super Genesis Wave timeline?

    1. It’s better than what’s stuck in my head. I keep imagining the voice actor from the Sonic OVA as classic Sonic’s voice

      1. Hah! I kept switching between the two. First I imagined the OVA voice, as Sonic looks more along the lines of him, but later I changed it to Jaleel White’s and then back to the OVA’s. Though in the end I settled for Roger Craig Smith’s.

  6. It’s disappointing to see them using the Eggman name when this is classic era Sonic.

    1. It’s how Japanese Sonic worked, so I guess that’s what they’re going with. It doesn’t really take away much from what should be an awesome comic, though!

  7. And yet another excuse for Knuckles to antagonize Sonic, at the expense of his own intelligence and credibility.

    1. Well, he is Gullible and a hot head. It would make sense for Eggman to be able to manipulate Knuckles easily.

      1. Remember when Knuckles wasn’t complete joke of a character, as was pretty cool in the Adventure games?
