  1. I liked the story in this issue. It was about time we found out what Silver has been up to in the post-genesis wave timeline and it was cool how Sonic and silver worked together.
Also, nice reference when Metal Sonic tells Silver “It’s no use”!

  2. SPOILERS:
There were some tasty throwbacks in this comic, but overall nothing happened other than the obvious “get emerald”. I feel like Silver got shafted with the dumbest job since the genesis wave (which may happen again in a very short countdown, mind you). We didn’t see too much of Metal being awesome (more just getting his shiny tin can kicked) and per usual GUN shows itself to be borderline useless unless one of Team Dark is involved. (You’d think Commander Tower would understand by now that Dark are the only agents to send when any of the Freedom Fighters are involved, but I don’t think the writers are willing to give him that much credit unfortunately.) This felt like more filler while waiting for the crossover part 2 to happen. It wasn’t bad, just not good either.

  3. The artist whose cover sells the least will loose his/her job.

Amazing stuff.. felt like yesterday I picked up issue 1.

.. kinda bummed they havent brought back Shard

    1. They can’t really bring Shard back. There’s a mandate stating only one Metal Sonic can exist.

      1. Even though the games have Metal Sonic and Neo Metal Sonic existing at once. And Rocket Metal Sonic…

          1. Lies and slander. But in seriousness that has been 100% said that all those are metal sonics but it makes so much sense that who else can it be so everyone just says so

          2. When they run out of games to cover in the comics they’ll go back to Metal Sonic stories and we’ll see

      2. They got around that by calling Shard a Mecha Sonic as per his mislabeling in his debut. SEGA were cool with that.

No, the reason he’s barred is legal troubles, unfortunately.
