A few days ago we brought you the news of a kickstarter to fund a new convention based on Sonic the Comic.
Following that announcement, the convention reached it’s target of £1,400 in under 12 hours, the convention is going to go ahead. In conjunction with this, the organisers have also announced their first stretch goal. If £2,500 is raised before the end of the kickstarter, anyone who has donated more than £12 will receive a specially printed copy of Sonic the Comic.
Our plan is to produce a full colour Sonic the Comic special edition issue, created exclusively for the event, with a brandnew story, poster, Graphic Zone, Speedlines and Control Zone!
Further to this announcement, the organisers have announced their first special guest who will attend the event. Ferran Rodriguez who was an artist on many of the earlier issues of the comic will be coming all the way from Barcelona to attend the convention. Ferran has previously attended Summer of Sonic 2013 and was very popular with attendees and even gave many budding artists some advice and mini tutorials.
