A new trailer for Sonic’s upcoming adventure Sonic Lost World was featured in this afternoon’s Nintendo Direct and if you missed it and don’t fancy watching it, we have the trailer for you above to catch up on. Those of you who have been keeping up with the news thus far will find nothing new outside of some new gameplay footage, but fans of SEGA’s occasional cheesey marketing humour will definitely enjoy the video.
Sonic Lost World will be released on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in Europe October 18th, in Australia October 19th and in the US October 29th.

The game looks even better the more and more I see it! 😀 I’m starting to get adjusted to the simplistic stage motif choices… especially when a world mixes it up, such as Frozen Factory. I also look forward to the multiplayer mode.
Oh my god that trailer! Who wrote that guy’s script, it sucks! Gameplay’s still awesome though.

This sounds like a marketing trailer rather than a trailer for regular consumers, kind of like the posters Sega have released lately marketing Sonic as a brand. I could be wrong of course.
When showing off TV play, I laughed to see that what was on telly was a real hedgehog
They brought back the Realistic Hedgehog!!….Do we have a name for him? “Good Hedgehog” maybe?
Well that was weird… Did Sonic actually look faster this time to anyone else? Cuz one of my issues was he seemed kinda slow but this time not so much.
I like this trailer. It actually looks “exciting” and not so underwhelming like previous ones. In a way I like the narration tho it sounds like it didn’t match the footage in a serious way so I could only hear it as funny. But the rest was cool. And here’s to hoping it was meant to be funny cuz that’d really help actually. The footage editing was much better too.

I think it’s more that people played slowly with Sonic before, Axx. A lot of people I’ve seen play this either took their time, or downright didn’t know what they were doing.
Why would I compare his running speed to someone simply playing the game slowly?
I’m talking about how he’s ACTUALLY faster in this trailer than he was before and in previous trailers.
Yes, in the 18 min gameplay video on Nintendo World News Report, he looks a lot faster than he was before.

Who wrote this guy’s script? “No two levels are the same.” I thought there was going to be a level that was the same as the previous one.
Yeah, because he was obviously talking about the level designs and apparently not the visual appearance or theme of each zone. What horrible writing that is taken too literal.

Is it just me, or does anyone else hear a possible Super Sonic theme at 1:24? It does sound like one, and it seems to be a remix of the theme.

This is definitely the best trailer for the game! It is about time somebody narrates, “RISE AGAINST THE DEADLY SIX!” Can’t wait! 🙂
