Mario & Sonic at the Sochi Olympic Winter Games “July Trailer”

No really, thats what it’s called, the July Trailer. Earlier today Nintendo released a new trailer for the 2nd Nintendo exclusive Sonic game, Mario & Sonic at the Sochi Winter Games.

Trailer shows a number of real Olympic events as well as the ‘Dream Events,’ if you watch carefully you might spot a few iconic Sonic themed items.

  1. That choppiness is definitely not from the game itself, as I’ve seen demos that have it running at 30fps if not higher.

    But I think it’s very obvious this game will not come out until 2014.

    P.S. Look out, Mario! Sonic’s going for your girl! xD

    1. I’m pretty sure this game is coming out this year. All of the other Mario & Sonic Olympic games came out the year before the respective event took place.

      1. True, but this game has barely got ANY coverage (news), and does not even have a release window yet.

        All I’ve been seeing in Trailer 2 is the same events shown in Trailer 1 and the same 3 dream events. This game really looks like it’s still heavily in development if SEGA isn’t showing everything this game has to offer. We haven’t even seen any CG, but I’m now starting to believe that this game won’t have a CG intro.

  2. Did anyone else see what looks to be a more cartoony Radical Train? Or… is it a Mario level that I don’t recall.. (Western Land from Mario Party 2…? e_e )

  4. I’m still hyped for this new mario & sonic game. I might buy a wii u for christmas if I have enough money for it though

  6. 1. Okay, Why the heck is Amy playing curling with Bowser, Dr. Eggman, and Wario while Sonic is in a figure skating pair with Princess Peach?
    2. The chao are actually wearing clothes.
    3. There are a lot of signs in this trailer that show the game is still in moderate to heavy development which also means we may be looking at a 2014 release date.
    4. This figure skating pair thing is going to be utter chaos in both Mario and Sonic fanbases.
    5. Could we finally be seeing actual 3D models in the crowd this time intead of those cardboard cut-outs that are in the previous titles?
    6. Can’t wait for this game to come out because it’s looking really promising!
