Well, it’s already Thursday in some parts of the world.
Sonic Jump is already up in the New Zealand App store. Some new video and info was posted on TSSZ earlier today along with some new info on the game. It appears there will be some extra playable characters including Tails and Knuckles. Also included are boss battles, score challenges and in-App purchases. Official release info and some new screenshots after the “ahem” jump.

Got the game through installous!! It’s a good game!! In order to unlock tails and knuckles you got to get to rank or status 17 and 20… Anyway it plays almost like the original sonic jump but with tighter controls and different story!! 10/10

Yep, also it’s nice to see Caterkiller making comeback.
For spin-off game it actually looks really good. I have played original Sonic Jump at 2005 and it was also pretty neat but trust me, not really mind blowing. Nowadays the original game would be pretty awkward, but it’s understandable for those early small mobile phone games. Maybe that’s the one reason why this remake has been made.

Gotta say, those cutscene panels, cut-outs and sprites actually look really good; they should use this pseudo cell-shaded art direction of this game for the next mainstream game.
Looks like later they will add on Amy and shadow later. This does look like the original Sonic jump.
You know what? The graphics sort of have a Jet Set Radio feel to it dontcha think?
Does anyone know whether or not this game can be played on a laptop, or does it have to be a device like an iPad???
“Diverse & Exciting levels” Such as, Green hill, Emerald hill, Angel Island, Emerald Coast, Wave Ocean, Another Hill Zone and of course lets not leave out SEASIDE HILL. Because we all know HOW AMAZING THAT LEVEL IS!!! I’m kidding around but going by the selection in Sonic Generations and SASRT It would not surprise me in the least to see that level yet again in this game. But I might get this though it looks pretty fun.
Some people just can’t wait for the next big Sonic game, Generations barely came out a year ago. Just give it another year but Sonic Jump looks fun wish it comes out for android devices soon we are always left out X(
I like how Eggman looks bigger than Sonic in this game, I hate when they make Eggman smaller than Sonic.

Can’t get it, but this game would amuse me for a day or two. And it’s one where I can actually get every red ring, too.
*Grumbles* I couldn’t even find all the keys in Shadow’s game…I’m terrible despite all my exploring XD
