Sum Up Sunday, On a Monday 2: Chocolate Bunny & Super Cute Animals Edition

It’s Easter Sunday! Monday! Hope you’ve had a cracking weekend and not too full on chocolate. Well it started nice and calm last week didn’t it? The usual trickle of news… and then we got to Thursday… Don’t know what happened? Read on!

Tuesday

• Sonic 4: Episode 2 Avatar items went up for sale on the Xbox Live Marketplace. If you’ve ever wanted your avatar to look like a two tailed fox or dance in the half pipe special zones today was your lucky day!
• A mysterious list claiming to be a list of unannounced Xbox Live titles appeared online which included Sonic Adventure 2. Not that interesting on it’s own… except when other unannounced titles on it suddenly started to get confirmed… WOO! WOO! WOO! ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN! WOO! WOO! *does train noises*

Thursday

• Sonic Co-Creator Hirokazu Yasuhara joined Nintendo, we probably wouldn’t have Sonic as we know him had it not been for this fellow, but when you look at his other accomplishment’s, Nintendo fans have a pretty big reason to be excited right now.

• Gamespot had an exclusive trailer and interview with Sonic 4 Brand Manager Ken Balough. And what an interview it was. Not only showing off a new stage & confirming the release dates, but also confirming a stand alone episode starring Metal Sonic if you owned both Episode 1 & 2. This prompted fans to go crazy! Dogs & Cats living together MASS HYSTERIA!

Friday

• The Japanese Sonic 4 website updated and with it, the name of the new zone announced on Thursday as well as several new screenshot’s showing off both Oil Desert & Episode Metal.

Well that’s it for another week, but with PAX East being held over the Easter holiday, many people have been searching for new episode 2 footage… I however, found this.
