Play Sonic Generations and M&S London at Simon Malls US Tour

Last night SEGA announced via their Twitter feed that Sonic Generations and Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games will be among the many games playable at the upcoming Simon Malls US GamePlay tour. The tour will make 26 stops beginning tomorrow in the Dadeland Mall in Miami, FL and ending November 13th at the Ontario Mills mall in Ontario, CA. SEGA says only the console version of Sonic Generations will be available on the tour, so those who want to try out the 3DS version are out of luck. There’s no word on platforms for Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Other publishers attending include THQ, Namco Bandai Games, Eidos, Sony with PS3 and PlayStation Move titles and Nintendo with Nintendo 3DS titles.

  1. It’s funny, I usually end up out of luck for most Sonic related events because I live in Miami, but now with this event, not only can I possibly join in, but it starts at Kendall, just 15 minutes away from my home. I’m so happy. I’ll try to record as much possible at this event.

  2. will they be stopping in Tulsa? or at least okc. I’m not sure if my parents would go for okc though but tulsa they probably would go. depending on what we were doing that day

      1. that’s one of those 😀 and DX moments when you figure that out. I don’t think my parents would drive 2 hours there just so i could play SG and mario and sonic at the oympic games. D: . if only yukon had the state race this year and they had that on the same weekend. :v oh well i hate their track and it’s as dusty as uh a desert or the dust bowl. but miami is having it. oh well their track is fun. it’s a little dusty but they water their track more and get the powder off. oh well okc gets some things and tulsa get other things… we got the foo fighters and motorhead concert and the metallica concert. not sure what okc gets. say lavee. if you did come to OK (which i don’t think you have a problem with that) you would be in casinopolis bad road and idiot drivers 😀

    1. Wait, your going? If so, could you please tell me how good M&S 2012 is? Because im not sure whether to rent it once, or buy it. If you get a chance, could you tell me how it is?

  10. I’ll be going to the one in Colorado on the 23rd. I’ll be wearing my Charmy costume the same one some of you saw at Sonic Boom.

      Seriously, not a thing because it wasn’t even f***ing THERE!!!

      I drove an hour in South Florida rain and Miami traffic just for the very nice Game Advisers to tell me that the touring trailer that DID have the blasted demo broke down and was under going repairs. $#@!!! To all of you who live in the Tampa, Orlando or Jacksonville, FL area, you should be able to play it as I was told it will be ready for those stops, but as for us in Miami, we’re once again hosed by a random act of God. M&S London was there, but I didn’t burn a 1/4 tank of my gas for that. (No offense to those who are excited for that title’s release)

  14. Great, it’s at the TWO Malls I would never even bother reaching, even if I tried. And I’m pretty sure that I’ll be working those two days, if they’re on Saturday and Sunday.

  16. I wish I would have told you sooner. I live closer to Dadeland, like 15 minutes away, and the guys there told me that they didn’t get the Sonic Generations disc, not that the kiosk got damaged, so I don’t know what went wrong or who is right. I did get some footage of M&S though and it was rather OK.

  17. I went to the FL mall today and THEY DIDN’T HAVE SONIC GENS UP.
    GOD FREAKIN DAMN IT!!!

    To clarify, they said that they couldn’t get it up as they couldn’t “download it” or something like that. Very disapointed.
