This was a really fun issue, and a nice turn around in quality for this arc. Here we have obscure and not so obscure Sonic characters of all shapes and sizes, tripping over themselves to get Blaze’s coveted Sol emerald! As usual, the preview and solicit is posted below. I actually just got this a couple days ago and laughed my ass off at the cover. Cream and Cheese tryin to be badasses with Shadow facepalming in the background is priceless!
Archie has published roughly 300 comics for the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Not one has a better cover than this.
First 3 pages with them 3 were awesome. Than I saw rouge…. cream shadow and amy and I went like BAWWW. Sucky characters are sucky
This is fantastic, I feel like I’m playing a Sonic Adventure 2 game again. The complex story and multiple characters isn’t that bad to be honest, in fact I kinda miss it.

Wouldn’t it be in G.U.N’s best interest to first protect a distant world rather than trying to seize power by obtaining Sol Emeralds?
Wow I’ll admit this looks cool…but like I said before I’m not a fan of Sonic Archie Comics (They ruin the main plot for me) , I strongly dislike the comics :/

I dunno, I’ve always been a fan of the cover for Sonic #176, and the one for the next issue (#220) looks admittedly cool as well. But to each their own, I suppose.

got that book a week or so ago. Fun read, and lots of SEGAsonic-y goodness (in that the only comic char in this story is NICOLE). The cover is my screensaver at the moment lol
