We’ve got nine Wisps still to give away to our UK readers! Been keeping an eye on here? Good… because I’m going to give them away, fire-sale style! These Wisps have got to go to a good home, each and every one of them. I simply can’t afford to keep nine of them around the place, what with the rising cost of food and all.

So here’s what you need to do – give me a good reason why I should let you take care of a Wisp. Write your reasons in the comment box below – the first nine commenters that manage to convince me will get a Wisp of their very own.

Update: That’s it, it’s all over ladies and gentlemen. Those guys went really quickly eh? Now, here are the winners, in no particular order:

  1. Because I keep my room extremely clean, my home is a safe enviroment, I have an oversized bed ready for the wisp and I have books for it to read. And I’m a kind and caring kid. So I believe the wisp would be happy in my house.

  2. I have a huge sonic plush in my room that is life size and he is feeling realy lonely and realy wants a friend if you give me a wisp it will make sonic happy so don’t do it for me do it for sonic 🙂 please he needs a friend

  3. I’ve got a number of sonic plushies ready to care for and look after Mr Wisp, As well as fitting in perfectly with the other fluffy people I’m sure he would make a fantastic companion for my mini chao figurine that I made, they look around the same height ^_^

  4. Why should I get to look after a Wisp? Because I need more minions to join me in my crusade against higher taxes, the Con-Dem coalition government, rising petrol prices and Katie Price. YOU KNOW IT’S A GOOD CAUSE. >=(

  5. You should let me take care of a wisp because I can offer it the joy of a friendly, fun environment, where I will love it and care for it and call it ‘George’. Also, I wish to free it’s friends by running around planets at high-speed, destroying all of this Eggman’s robots.

  6. A wisp would be most welcome in our collection! The good to evil balance is tipped in the evil favor as the tails doll marches on. Even the creation of the blue eyed ‘good’ version hasnt helped! A wisp would lighten and bring harmony to our family of Sonic plushies. (also, Tyler would run around the living room with his shirt over his head if he won one, and that would be the cutest!)

  7. You shouldn’t give me a Wisp.

    You should give this SSMB User (Gim_Gam) a wisp. Reason being is that she’s always at work when you run these comps so I thought I would try and win her one.

    That and we all know that when the Wisp invasion begins those without Wisps will be the first to go! I want my friends to be prepared for when the Wisp overlord forces us all into slavery and demands us to build the ion cannon aimed at Krakum 5, when the Earth based Wisp army is forced into battle… those with Wisps will not be the first to die! For survival! For planet Wisp! For the empire!

  8. Becuase i have 5 pets and id love to take care of a 6th one i will love it and hug and will LOVE IT FOR EVAH cuz i love wisps there cute and cool!

  9. The wisp would love all the COLOURS in my room (yes i know awful awful joke but im in a rush) also all my sonic plushes would welcome him and give the wisp useful info like ‘check out the consoles’ or ‘watch out for doctor eggman now whaaaaaoooooow!!’ 🙂

  10. I can take good care of a Wisp because I can protect it from Dr.Eggman and his Robots with all my life!
    I will give him good food and i will keep him in a very secret plushie place and I will let him rest after his adventures.
    Hes travelling with Sonic he needs a break from all this flying around and giving Sonic amazing powers that he has never had before

  11. I would be a good candidate as I have a fairly sizeable house with lots of room and rooms for it to live in and food to eat, several siblings to look after it as well as a set of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles Plushes from Game to keep it company.

  13. Because I’m OBVIOUSLY not going to stick them in that Wisp Capsule that I keep under my bed which may in fact attract the attention of a small blue hedgehog…yeah =)

  14. I deserve a Wisp because I will be forced to shell out my hard earned cash to buy a Wii specifically for the chance to play Sonic Colours! Since I will then become addicted to Wii Sports and forced to bowl with the Wiimote and risk smashing my LCD TV due to faulty wrist straps, I think a Wisp should be adequate compensation for the sacrifices I will be making to ensure my Sonic Worship continues!!!

  15. I Wish to have a wisp because I would take really good care of it, and it would go with my sonic plushie collection. I would appreciate one since my pet recently died and I have been sad ever since.. so please send me one 🙂

  16. Because I will keep it safe from Robotnik and let it have a Daily fly around the world and if it does get captured by Eggman I will Hire a certain speedy Hedgehog to save the day!

  17. I should get a wisp so that my sonic and tails plushes will have a friend there to keep them speeding along on their adventures!

    As well as the fact that it will be taken care of and not just left on a self to catch dust. I promise to keep him clean!

    It would also be used as a mascot as i play Sonic colours when it comes out!

    This morning, I woke up mega early just to check if the competition was up. I literally prayed for a Wisp, because I think it would be living the life in my clean, luxury house. It would be save from Robotnik thanks to an alarm, and even if Robotnik got past, he’d probably just break his feet trodding on my many, many Transformers. I’m hyped for Sonic Colours, and if I had a Wisp, my experience would be made a whole lot more awesome.

  19. Also, I keep my room clean and theres lots of space for him to run around. as I mentioned,my pet died recently so I have a bed for it. I’ve also preordered sonic colours. so it can see its friends when the game Arrives at my house.

  20. Should get one i shall be able to care and suport the wisp for its every need, i have money to feed it (especialy in these economic times)
    He can play with my vast collections of sonic plushes so he will never be bored
    i shall make my favroite sonic plush his god farther and i shall adopt his and rase him as if he were my son. Please pick me 🙂

  22. I am being held at ransom. If I don’t give my captors a plush Wisp I will be forced to endure 72 continuous hours of Sonic 06. HALP. T__T

I believe that I am a viable canidate for looking after one of those Wisps because he’ll keep me company when I go off to uni this year, riding on top of my bag for the world to see while watching my back for any of Robotniks evil robots! My Sonic and Tails Dolls (not the evil Tails Doll) will keep him out of mischief when I work on animation projects and artwork upstairs, he’ll be with me on my bed when I play videogames (pehaps even Sonic Colours later this year) and his big eye will watch over my room when I sleep.

    I may not be as flash and cool as the blue blur himself so I won’t be able to take my Wisp on grand adventures in space but I’m sure he’d settle down fine with me and my own escapades.

  27. I should get a Wisp because I’ll hug him and pet him and kiss him and name him George XI (after all the other pets who stopped moving after too much hugging) and never let him go :P. And if he’s ever bad, I’ll threaten to send him to boarding school :D.
