Yet More SEGA Sonic 4 Tokyo Contest Entries

Upon announcement of this competition, I was expecting hundreds of video entries depicting people dressed in £39.99 Sonic the hedgehog costumes running around town centres. Yeah, they’re beginning to come out the woodwork now, but this one is a little more entertaining! I particularly love the liberation of the animals (very cleverly done), and the fight with Dr. Robotnik at the end.

I think this entry definitely has a shot at the grand prize. Oh, and do watch Robotnik’s drinking contest too: Drink responsibly kids.

On the other hand…there’s Sonic Turkey. I’m so confused.

  2. I ruddy well love the first one. The spring, Eggman’s hovercraft, the animal capsule, the swinging ball boss battle… all very cleverly done. I see that one going far.

    As for Sonic Turkey… umm… yeah… o_O

    I believe that this is NOT an art contest. Still, he made Sonic, even if it’s not accurate. Sorta creepy.

  11. I loved the “post Robotnik capture” counseling. Very creative. But Sonic Turkey? N:Pot as good as my Knuckles Shrimp, I think. 😛

    And the UK and US contests are separate, right?

    Some videos just put a big smile in your face for the right reasons. Not like the ones where a guy gets hit by a whale and you realise afterwards that it was quite tragic. Not like those ones.
