Tomopop Review Jazware’s Metal Sonic Figure *Lotsa New Pic’s*

Jazware's Metal Sonic

Anthony DePasquale from Collectible toy enthusiast website Tomopop has got his hands on Jazware’s new Metal Sonic action figure and has posted up a review of the figure with a collection of photo’s of Metal in various poses and duking it out with Optimus Prime of Transformers fame.

Anthony gives some very positive feedback on the figure, claiming it to be a perfect gift and assures that Sonic fans and action figure fans alike will love it.

You can check out Anthony’s review and LARGE amount of pic’s here.

If your interested in buying the figure Toys R Us list it at $17.99 but are currently out of stock. Anthony says he got it for $16 so it might be cheaper in-store.

  1. That is cool. This is going right next to the Werehog (and Shadow on his bike when it comes out).

  2. A late review… aw well
I think the figures are $2 off in store right now

*Every time someone says Sonic Adventure 2 was good, all Sonic players worldwide are disconnected from their online Smash Bros Brawl game*

  3. I’m a huge Sonic fan and a huge action figure collector, and honestly think this figure could have been much better. His head is solid and his body is thin, thus he can fall easily. His legs and elbows don’t bend, even though his robotic joints are sculpted on. His thumbs fall off easily. There are no other Sonic characters of this proportion to go with him. He’s pretty good for looking cool on a shelf though.

  4. His elbows bend.. pretty sure his knees do too.
I still think its awesome, it’s exactly the way he looks in the game, if his head is the heaviest part of his body.. well then, Robotnik must’ve done it for some reason.. less drag on a light body?… not that I’ve ever seen him walk or run.

I’m still thankful Jazwares is taking the time to appreciate a long running video game series and its fans.. they didn’t have to do this 🙂

  5. Aside from the thumbs breaking off
    although looks fine super glued

I like this figure allot but i wish they would make a smaller one that can go with my other figures

  6. I was lucky enough to get the very last one at my toysrus. There usually horrible keeping things in stock. I still cant find the 3″ tails figure. Be careful with this guy,he feels extremely fragile in certain places.

  7. I’m ashamed to say I comepletely forgot about this…

Now I must hope that my Toys R Us has him in stock… Which never happens at the local one….
