Out of the Exams, into some gaming!

Sorry about the oddness of the main page for the last few hours – something must have happened to kerfuffle the page ^_^. OK, all my exams are over officially, so things are going to start gearing up again soon – once we get more space on our servers, that is. =D Next week expect a review and more of Sonic Pinball Party, a review of the European release of Sonic Adventure DX, and the opening of the Sonic Site Awards 2003 – the awards ceremony that started it all! To all those submitting hoaxes, fan art and comics, please be patient, as my ‘net access is very limited at this time. Oh, and HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY to Sonic on the 23rd! Plus, it’ll be my very own 18th birthday on the 30th June – like anyone cared about that =P. Finally, PLEASE support The Sonic Stadium by voting for us via the buttons – you’ll find them on any page at the bottom of the left/right hand navigation menu. See ya soon!

New Official Phantasy Star Website

Sega has opened a small official website with info and screens of the 3D Ages version of Phantasy Star which will be released on the Playstation 2 with enhanced graphics and sound, a small remake. I didn’t add no news on this before because well, Sonic Team didn’t have involvement with this project till now. Sonic Team will be supervising the character editorial and package illustrations. So most art will be done by them, official art.

House of Brussels Chocolates Provides Follow-Up to Introduction of Sonic The Hedgehog Line at
All Candy Expo
Friday June 6, 9:13 am ET
VANCOUVER, British Columbia–(BUSINESS WIRE)–June 6, 2003–House of Brussels Chocolates (“HBSL”) (OTCBB: – ) is pleased to announce that the official launch of Sonic The Hedgehog® chocolate treats at the 2003 All Candy Expo in Chicago as announced on May 13th appears to be a major success. Thanks to the strong marketing support of our partners, SEGA® of America and Prima Games, coupled with a highly recognizable brand name, our sales and marketing team at the show was inundated by retailers both large and small to get a “taste” of our new Sonic the Hedgehog chocolate line. Over three days, HBSL received several hundred leads, with more than 30 coming from major chain retailers. At the request of several retailers, we are currently registering the Sonic line with several regional and nationwide food distributors, which is a necessary step to initiate our product roll out. HBSL anticipates the signing of several significant contracts in the near future and will release this information to the public as appropriate. “In the 20-year history of Brussels Chocolates, we have never had a more exciting product to present to buyers and anticipate high buyer and retail acceptance,” said Grant Petersen, Managing Director of Brussels.
