At Tokyo Game Show this year, Sonic Team reminded the world that they are still working on Phantasy Star Online for Microsoft’s Xbox console. It now has an official name, too – Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II. That’s right, it’s the same game as the recently-released (in Japan) Gamecube version.
The game will release on 16 January 2003, and will have all the features of the Gamecube version. In fact, it will come with a few extra features as well – voice communicator and keyboard support will be added. We suspect this is down to Microsoft’s console being rather good at online play.
