  • Sonic Prime Premieres at #5 in Netflix Most Watched

    If you tuned in to catch the first eight episodes of Sonic Prime, you're in good company. In the show's premiere week, it hit #5 in Netflix' own English TV Top 10 rankings list.

    According to Prime's animation studio, WildBrain, the show has also rocketed to the top spot in the Kids' category on the streaming service worldwide, and was #3 in the US-specific rankings as on the single-day period of 16 December!

    But back to its' week-long #5 position. The ranking, which goes by hours viewed, places Prime at 27,720,000 hours, or, according to no less a source than my desktop calculator, roughly 1.26 million 22-minute episode views. It is also a rare instance of a kid-focused series hitting the the top 10, surpassing recent premiers such as Oddballs, Little Angel, and Kung-Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight.

    In the picture, it was actually the US that was referenced. But we should be able to find out for worldwide soon. (The Netflix weekly stats will update after Sunday for the rest of the world passes)

    I'm glad the show Is doing really well because I enjoyed watching It myself even It's for kids and I say anyone can watch It. It's just a fun show to watch I hope the next Season 2 should do well. The animations are fantastic and the colours as well the characters looks great as well.
